National Roasted Marshmallow Day. Who knew?

It is true that August 30 is National Roasted Marshmallow Day.

The US Forest Service chose that day to bring out advice for all of us poor idiots on how to correctly roast a marshmallow. US Forest Service Asks: How Does Your Marshmallow Roast? – See more at: http://blogs.usda.gov/2014/08/29/us-forest-service-asks-how-does-your-marshmallow-roast/#sthash.Wb4nkHC9.dpuf

Great advice like, “Some experts advoc128px-RoastingMarshmallowate a 10-foot rule between young children and a campfire.” And why roast marsmallows at all “Think fruit.” And there was advice for s’mores, “try using slices of angel food cake instead of graham crackers.”

I am sleeping a lot better a night knowing the Forest Service is watching out for me or is it watching me?
